Mark Walker Award

Mark Walker Memorial Award

Mark Walker played hockey for Great Falls Youth Hockey in the 1970’s. He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in 1980.

Mark's parents established the Mark Walker Memorial Award in 1980 and it is given to the graduating Senior who most exemplifies hockey as a leader and a role model on and off the ice. This award is voted on by teammates and coaches prior the beginning of the Casey Cup at which time the winner is announced during the opening ceremonies. Each winner will have his/her name placed on the award as well as receive a plaque to keep.
