Families needing assistance with registration fees may submit a completed GFAHA Scholarship form for consideration by the GFAHA Board. 

Families and players must be members in good standing with GFAHA, MAHA and USA Hockey to be eligible for any benefit GFAHA may offer. 

Registration discounts do not apply. 

Scholarships do not apply to fundraising.  See our Registration Info page for current player fundraising requirements.

Scholarships offer assistance with registration fees only.  In addition to registration fees, parents should consider these additional expenses:

• Hockey equipment (skates, shin pads, breezers, chest pads, elbow pads, helmet, mouth guard, gloves, stick and athletic under-garmets, or goalie specific equipment).
   
• Travel - 10U through High School divisions travel approximately half of their division MAHA season games.  This typically amounts to 8 away games.  Players may not miss more than 25% of the typically 16 games to be eligible to play State in their division without approval by the division commissioner.  
   
• Tournaments - Team registration fees to attend home and away tournaments, which can include a division's own home tournament and the MAHA State tournament.  Additional tournaments are generally selected for travel by the team.
