The Great Falls Amateur Hockey Association (GFAHA) is dedicated to providing a positive, inclusive, and competitive hockey experience for youth athletes in Great Falls and the surrounding communities. From a child's first time stepping onto the ice through high school competition, our programs are designed to develop confident players, outstanding teammates, and responsible young leaders.

Our association welcomes players of all skill levels, whether they are learning to skate for the first time or striving to compete at a higher level. Through quality coaching, structured player development, and a supportive hockey community, we help every athlete reach their full potential while creating lifelong friendships and memories.

This mission guides everything we do—from our youngest 6U players learning the basics of skating to our high school athletes representing Great Falls with pride.

Our Programs

GFAHA offers age-appropriate programs for players ages 4 through high school, including:

• 6U – Introduction to skating and hockey fundamentals through fun, engaging practices.
• 8U – Continued skill development with cross-ice games and teamwork.
• 10U, 12U & 14U – Competitive league play, tournaments, and advanced player development.
• High School Hockey – A competitive program focused on leadership, teamwork, and preparing athletes for the next level.

Our experienced coaches and dedicated volunteers emphasize player development while ensuring every participant enjoys the game in a positive environment.
